This bowl is prettier than me and all of my friends. It is a hot-pink-hit for both vegans and non-vegans! It is so much fun to make and to eat, especially on a hot summer day.
Smoothie Bowl Ingredients:
1 packet or 1 cup of frozen DragonFruit
1 frozen ripe banana
1 cup frozen strawberry
2 tbsp of unsalted sugar-free peanut butter (optional)
2-4 Pitted Soft Dates
1 cup of water
Topping Options:
1 kiwi sliced
Blueberries
Strawberries sliced
Raw unsalted green pumpkin seeds
Unsalted Sunflower Seeds
Granola
Cinnamon (Cylon Cinnamon is the best kind)
HOW TO:
Put all of those smoothie bowl ingredients into a high speed blender (I use a Vitamix). Start with one cup of water and be patient while blending. The frozen ingredients take a minute or two before they start getting really creamy. Use the blender tool to make sure everything is blended up nice and smooth. If it's too thick, you can add a small amount of water a little bit at a time to get it to an ice-cream like consistency.
Put your hot pink yummy deliciousness from the blender into a bowl and decorate with your toppings! This is where you can get creative or use whatever you have in the kitchen. It's also totally fine to eat this bowl without any toppings, it's so good either way. The decoration part of this bowl is a really fun activity to do with kids.
