Loaded Waffles!

These oil-free, salt-free, and refined sugar-free waffles are insanely good. Applesauce replaces the eggs and oil, and whole date-syrup replaces any refined sugars! Load it up with your favorite fruit and berry toppings.





INGREDIENTS:


1 and 1/2 cups of flour

1 and 1/2 tsp of baking powder

1 container of apple sauce (4 oz)

1 tsp of vanilla extract

1 and 1/2 cup of almond or soy milk


Extra Topping Ideas:

Banana, strawberry, blueberry, raspberry, blackberries...

Date Syrup for drizzle! You can also use maple syrup and it will be wonderful and vegan but I use date syrup is used because it is a whole food.


COOKING INSTRUCTIONS:


  1. Plug in your waffle iron to heat it up

  2. Combine all of your waffle ingredients (flour, baking powder, vanilla, applesauce, and almond milk) and combine them using a whisk or a mixer

  3. Pour your batter into your waffle iron and cook per your waffle iron's instructions

  4. Top it off with your favorite toppings and you're done! Easy peasy!
