I love peanut butter & jelly sandwiches but I don't love all of the added white refined sugar found in jelly and jam! This smoothie packs all of the flavors from a peanut butter and jelly sandwich but leaves out the white sugar and the white bread! It's a win-win!
Ingredients
1 Frozen Banana
1 cup Frozen Strawberries
2-3 Large Pitted Dates (the more dates you add, the sweeter this will taste!)
2 tbsp Peanut Butter (I make sure to buy sugar-free salt-free oil-free peanut butter)
1 tsp AMLA Powder for antioxidants (See Video Here)
2 tbsp Ground Flax Seed for healthy fat (See Video Here)
1 cup Water
How to:
Throw all of the ingredients into a blender. Blend for about 1 minute and enjoy!
I like to pour it into a fancy glass and eat it with a spoon like gelato! Topped with fresh berries.
